Raise a glass to the folks at Beam Suntory, who started this holiday season off with a $100,000 donation to help feed military families with Operation Homefront.
While the partnership between Beam and Operation Homefront dates back to 2008, their focus on making sure service members and their families have a great Christmas dinner started with a random act of kindness in 2009. A Beam employee was waiting in line at a grocery store behind a soldier and his wife and baby. When the he saw the young family struggling to pay for their groceries, the Beam employee stepped in to cover the cost.
